Courses in this department

The curriculum design and teacher teaching of the university department focus on training the five skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation, and cultivate Japanese communication talents. In order to actively cultivate students’ speaking skills, freshmen must receive 4 days of conversational training a week. In addition, the Japanese conversation course is listed as a compulsory course for grades one to four. In addition to compulsory credits and general education credits, the remaining free credits can be elective courses of other departments or courses, such as "Chinese Language and Literature Teaching Program", "International Tourism Management Employment Certificate Credit Course", "Creative Industries" Integrate the Bachelor's Degree with Numbers, etc., and tutor students to learn English and Korean to strengthen their foreign language skills and improve their employment competitiveness.

 

The master's program design and teacher teaching focus on cultivating Japanese language teaching talents. In addition to hiring famous domestic and foreign professors to give lectures, we also hire famous professors from sister schools in Japan to give lectures and give credits from time to time. There are 128 credits for graduation from the day department and the further education department of the University Department. Among them, 62 required credits and at least 18 professional elective credits. There are 36 credits for graduation from the master's program. Among them, 12 credits are required for Japanese language teaching, Japanese linguistics, and Japanese comparative studies, and 24 credits for other related elective courses including Japanese corporate novels.
